1st Snow Fall in Ski

Snow fall eventually here in Ski. Today, around in the afternoon I saw snow was falling while I was on my way from Skøyen to Ski. I guess the prediction was right that today there will be snow falling for this region (ooh what should I say!). Today, also for the first time, some people whom I met was saying that they dont like snow :) little bit surpised!

Talking about my feeling...well it is ok with snow but I dont like

its cold (so..why here???)

wet and slow walking style (like penguin since i have to be extra carefull so i wont fall down coz snow performing into ice can be very very slippery!)

Anyway, this is winter so winter should be accompanied by snow especially for the northern part of the world where Norway is located.

So, here I am again having winter in Norway. Let see what will be the condition of winter in the western part of this country as compare with other regions or at least as compare with my previous winter season in the central part of Norway.

Funny thing is, right now I am writing this post in the Bibliotek since internet in the office is not functioning..there is trouble with its connection..so when I checked that Bibiliotek still open today..I rushed in hurry from office (approved by my supervisor since the working hour was over for today!) and went to Bibliotek. Looked at around in this Bibliotek with its complete facilities..no wonder kids are around reading books, teenages, adults as well are here to read the book, to borrow the books or even to use gratis internet (like me!)...

This is something needs to be a good example by facilitating nice environment for citizen so that they have space to be utilised for their own necessity.

Well...i think this can be good combination: having snow and reading..meaning that be at home..enjoy a cup of chocholate and read the book...hmmmmmpppp. Hey, i need to be home soon bcoz there will be a match between Chelsea FC and Barcelona FC in TV3!

FLASH BACK THE TIME – part TWO

As I mentioned earlier, this post is dedicated for the missing time I had when I could not access my weblog for a time period. This is part two of the series. For 2nd part of the sequence, this will be my story after I left Indonesia and to be in Norway again.

So, on 15th October 2006 I left Indonesia and flew to Norway.

Lots of things to be brought…too less kgs were provided for me 111 was 1 big luggage blue bag, 1 medium luggage red bag and 1 backpack black bag. Anyway, tried to manage basic and important things and rest would be managed in Norway. Thus, on 16th October 2006 again I entered Norway with destination airport was Oslo Gardermoen (used to have Værnes!) and continued with Flybussekspressn to Ski. It took ca. 1 hour journey from Oslo Gardermoen to Ski Sentralstasjon. Ski is a town which is located ca. 24 km from Oslo the capital to the South-East (SE) direction.

Unbelievable…fantastic…nice…great but also cold…those were my feelings I had when I arrived at Oslo airport. Yes, it was true that the weather was cold, especially for me who just arrived from a place with 35ºC! But here in Norway the only thing is about proper clothes.
Along the way to Ski from Oslo, again I saw the same scenery Norwegian style for Fall Season…some were already yellow…some were still green…some were mixed in colour…foggy kind of air…blue-white-little bit light grey sky…but I love this outer shell!

Arrived at Ski Sentralstasjon around 11 am then picked up and accompanied by Mr. Jan H, we went to my new apartment. It is located not so far from Sentrum and the most important is not so far from office as well ca. 10 minutes normal walking distance with relatively flat road.
My apartment is nice (pretty big for a single living like me!) with standard facilities like: bed room, living room, kitchen, and bath room, nevertheless some of electronics stuff. The landlady is also very nice person….hun er kjempefint!
We went to visit office for that day: Velkommen! met with new colleagues, looked at my new space at 3rd floor and bought several stuff for my own necessity. Complete exhausted that day I remembered but gladly everything was fine.

First week (Uke 42): went to office as well as explored Oslo (glad to find: St. Hallvard, after 15 mins got lost around it!)

Second week (Uke 43): went to office (1st time joined in a meeting with employer and employees…using Norsk) as well as explored Oslo (awesome to find: St. Olav)

Day by day until today, here I am in my new coordinate at Ski, Norway. Trying to gain lots of knowledge, experiences, as well as self-development. All the best! Lykke til for meg!

FLASH BACK THE TIME – part ONE

Finally it works, that’s all I can say for my weblog. After sometime, I didn’t even post anything new here in my weblog. Telling the truth, I got some troubles by opening my own weblog!
Anyway, let’s now start with lots of stories I would like to share in this weblog and I am sure the only way I can share is to make a sequence for each of the stories so that it will make a sense to be read….that is why I used the title for this section: part ONE.

Kindly I started with the time when I left Norway (8th August 2006) after finished my study as well as finished my short travelling in Europe with my lovely mom and aunty. We had really nice time visiting beautiful places in Europe although I must say: a little bit too short

So, I came back again to my city, Semarang (10th August 2006) after one night stay in Jakarta. Back (for good!) again to my home, to be again with family. Everything was stayed the same, still: my room, my house, my kampung, my city, etc. Maybe the only thing which was sound different was the C-mall ..developed faster than last one! I think it was a natural feeling everyone would have when they came back to their home after they were away for sometime..and that was the same thing happened to me. Well, took sometime to adjust myself into life there but it was really fun!

Great feeling to be at home but at the same time missing time and moment I had in Norway…well that is something natural and as human being, memories as the treasures will remain forever in my heart and my mind!

I discovered a new hobby: planting.
It was started by looking my mom every evening, used her time busy with her plants and flowers she has at our private ground. When I helped her by watering the plants or by giving new fertilizer…it was nice! Then I started buying my own plants (good to have: Sunday Simpang Lima! where bubur ayam and bakso ojek also could be found). First, I bought 2 plants…again 2 plants…got from uncle: 2 plants…bought again 1 plant (failed!)…bought again 2...got from father’s friend: 2 plants…bought again 2 plants (1 failed!)….so having some collections by my own and let them grow in their space. I even so surprise that a plant can have its high price…up to million IDR..!..what a…..plant! But, it was really nice enjoying flora exhibitions where colour mixed and new items appeared.

Got skin problem
It was the first skin allergic I ever had…never before! Just because I ate sea food for a lunch…then a day after that I got skin allergic: red dots on my right hand side. I guess my last having sea food was in Barcelona…and nothing was happened without any troubles. Well, need to be more aware and selective!

Be a model for ca. 3 hours
What a new experience: be a model for Unika’s coming calendar 2007. It was really surprisingly for me when mas Nardi, Ka Penerbitan Unika, asked me whether I could be one of the models for Unika coming calendar (as per suggestion from WR4). Then, on Saturday morning, a photo session was taken….little hard for me to act in front of professional photographer (mas Anggara: thanks a lot for the photos and woship songs…fantastic!) since I am not used to be a model for a photo…regardless for my own collections. Anyway, let’s see what will happen for coming calendar…cross the finger!

However, time I spent in hometown was really tight although never forget to have fun and enjoy the minutes…that is because I was busy for preparing (again!) a plan to go back to Norway. After taking a decision (with lots of deep consultations-discussion both private and share) agreed to have an engagement work in Norway so started to proceed the necessary process.

nevertheless beyond that: Prayer!

then Norge visa was granted, eventually.

So amazing: days were too long when visa was not yet granted, but remained days were too short after visa was granted! Yup, my time in hometown was like a late summer break for me.
